I was doing this so that I could work on idealist's initiative to get people together... essentially they wanted to get people involved to do things within their communities, and set a date: go, host meetings, we will help out, start a community! I am doing my thesis on creating a web portal that helps iranian educators come abroad to speak at conferences, and brings people from around the world to iran to share their particular area of expertise. That way people can connect with each other themselves! It is not a non-profit--it is simply a portal. :) Thanks Aaron!
